ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that four individuals have been arrested for their involvement in a Wednesday evening fire in Habersham County. The fire occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on June 8th and heavily destroyed the 30-year-old, 900-square-foot structure. “The home was being used as a rental property at the time of the fire,” said Commissioner King. “After examining the fire scene and conducting witness interviews, this fire was ruled to be an act of arson and warrants were taken out against four individuals. According to our investigation, fireworks were used to set the inside of the residence on fire from the outside.” The investigation resulted in the following arrests:
